This is the first of 3 EP's containing tracks from my forthcoming artist album.

Dream of Me (Original mix) 124 bpm, a collaboration with "Deepnite" from Minsk in Belarus is probably best described as Deep House with uplifting synth melodies, string sections and vocals from Irish duo "The Ridgewalkers".

No Words (Original mix) runs at 125 bpm with the deep house bass line and melodic synths, strings and guitars, a collaboration with Songstress from Atlanta "Molly Bancroft" known for her work with Gabriel & Dresden amongst others.

Step Outside (Original mix) 125 bpm is a collaboration with Jonatan Bäckelie, a post modern indie & electronica artist from Sweden. Recorded in Matts London studios while Jonatan was visiting on tour. Melodic and edgy falling somewhere between Electronica and Deep Progressive House.

There Is A Place (Argentinox remix) 120 bpm was recorded together with Canadian singer songwriter Roberta Harrison, probably best known for her work with ATB. This is the first of many collaborations with Matt, remixed by Italian producer Argentinox with guidance from Matt.

Dream of Me (Tvardosky remix) 125 bpm Ukrainian producer Tvardosky shines a deep progressive light on the track with hypnotic synths and bass lines.

A blast from the past, Orkidea's uptempto psy-trance rework is a pulsating affair; a hypnotic groove and driving low end giving that classic Goa throwback feel.

The latest in a long line of Finnish faces to appear on the label, Helsinki native Yotto makes his Anjuna debut with a deep progressive mix. What excites him most is that it is a version of Jean Michel Jarre's 'Revolution Industrielle' and we've got now official approval from the legend's publisher for his version!

ORKIDEA - ‘REVOLUTION INDUSTRIELLE’

Orkidea’s last single venture, the purer-than-pure ‘Purity’, stoked floor fires bright throughout the autumn. Drawing substantial deck & radio show rotation from Armin van Buuren and multitude of other tier-1 DJs, press-side it was hailed is as “a real treat!” with Tilllate scoring it a red-hot 9.5/10. The UK’s DJ Mag meanwhile described it as having a “doomy dash of ‘Bladerunner’ with several tablespoons of ‘Oxygène’ about it”. For his next release, the flying Fin, delves even deeper into the latter’s sonic gene pool, with a stunning retro-futuristic revision from the Jean-Michell Jarre universe.

He’s taken the legendary composer’s 1988 classic ‘Revolution Industrielle’ and, bringing all his accrued production knowledge to bear, repurposed it for 21st century clubbers.

Orkidea brilliantly, assuredly recasts JMJ’s ‘Revolution Industrielle’ as a deep-into-the-night club floor titan, utilizing masterful chord transposal and emotion-spiking Roland D-50 synth mechanics to retain the original’s soundscape feel & drama. Generating incredible ether, ‘Revolution Industrielle’ offers another enticing foretaste of Orkidea’s hotly anticipated new album (the follow-up to the impressively-received ‘20’ long-player).

A release with one foot in the past… and the other most firmly in the future, to quote ‘Revolution Industrielle’ itself: “Today, Tomorrow… Forever”.
