Part 1 of AVA’s 100th release see’s
the combined efforts of Andy Moor joining forces with Somna for a track
entitled “One Thing About You” featuring the lovely Amy Kirkpatrick. A
beautiful love song written from the heart, Amy’s vocals hit home
amongst a medley of piano’s, guitars and melodic elements before the
team turns up the levels with driving synths and sweeping euphoric
synths. On the flipside, Clayfacer flips the track into a unique chilled
take. Changing time signatures and a re-writte chord structure provide
a whole new listening experience. Cleverly arranged and produced from
this Canadian, perfectly suited for the coming summer days.
For the next addition to Future Sound of Egypt's outstanding catalogue, American producer Mitka teamed up with fellow-countryman Niko Zografos to bring you 'Phoria'. There's no denying the beautiful atmosphere of this tune, when the sweet melody takes you to places you wish you've discovered ages ago. Add the energetic remix by the undoubtedly skilful Ferry Tayle and you know for certain that 'Phoria' will ensure its place on your playlist for a very long time.

Truth be told, we never quite got to the bottom of what was behind the inscrutably fascinating title of Paul Miller’s last VANDIT outing. Having rocked up on floors at the end of last year with suitable vengeance, ‘Plick Plack’ must now be X-Filed in trance music’s titular mystery draw!
The enigma is though now academic… Why? Well because there’s fresh Paul Miller production business to attend to! This time out the track’s designation could hardly be clearer. A sublimely sublimating ride to the trance’s harmonic side, simply, oasis is what ‘Oasis’ does!
Putting some real spring into the Spring, Miller’s latest is the perfect gathering of thermally uplifting pads & chords, temperate synths and warm surrounding FX atmosphere.

I wanted to play with the idea that two people connect digitally and when they attempt to find each other in the real world they discover that they have been chasing an illusion. Trapped behind a glass screen the flickering images of the digital remain intangible and out of reach for human touch. Do we find a heightened sense of humanity, or a sense of being superhuman in our digital avatars or can this only be reached in the tactile realm of reality?"
