Exactly 50 releases ago (PRFCT017), Perfecto Records saw the of “The Heart Speaks”, Kenneth Thomas’ monster vocal collaboration with Colleen Riley.
This re-release sees an update courtesy of Art Deko who adds his unmistakable high-class production, fresh from his successful revisioning of Paul Oakenfold and Angela McCluskey’s “You Could Be Happy” which saw support from the likes of Tiesto, Michael Woods, Cosmic Gate and Tritonal to name but a few.
Causing a stir in the progressive scene (in the more traditional sense of the genre) is Philthy Chit who brings us a far darker take on the vocal and an altogether more progressive trance based remix and an evil one at that.
Last but definitely not least, after bubbling away for some time and having stand out releases on the likes of Anjunadeep and his own label Ifonika, Roddy Reynaert excels with his remix, bringing a nu-disco / progressive house sound.
A fantastic package covering a multitude of styles that will satisfy the most eclectic electronic music connoisseur!

Audio Noir has had a strong and steady string of releases since his debut in 2013 on Bonzai Records. He has gone on to have releases on Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, JOOF and Drizzly before the track “Piranha” landed into the Perfecto demos inbox.
The original is a dark, twisting progressive track, which has a strong old school element from the gated pads and memorizing bassline.
Philthy Chit (fast becoming the ‘go to’ guy for progressive sounds) is on hand to bring us his distinct blend of music with a strong remix that has seen early support from Above & Beyond (GT121) and Paul Oakenfold in his Full On Fluoro radio show.

Despite his wealth of production, New York native M.I.K.E. Push continues to capture the imagination with his blissful melodies. Following Guardians of the Deep, he is back on Coldharbour with another packed three track release.
Leading track Starcraft is blissful in vibe, and its timing is effective with summer on the horizon. Pushed Away is an energetic and devilish little number, varying in speed and hooking in an audience. And Visions Become Reality is a beautiful trancer in Mike's typical signature.

Following an incredible year, which included his debut at Tomorrowland among a plethora of production highlights, including his much acclaimed Afterall, Colombian maestro KhoMha kicks off his Coldharbour 2015 presentation with a mammoth EP.
Leading track Never Going Back sees KhoMha dive into the soul, with a breathtakingly beautiful melody surrounded by driving tech-fuelled darkness. The Alchemist is a highly addictive and energetic alternative, and provides an essential momentum builder in any set. And for those who like their sounds grinding and dirty, El Malo is a drawing magnet.

There are fewer producers who will introduce themselves to the Coldharbour Recordings family in grander fashion than Los Angeles native Dave Neven. With feverish anticipation, Drifter has arrived.
A regular supporter at Markus Schulz's gigs throughout Los Angeles and Dave's hometown of Chicago, Drifter was presented to the Coldharbour boss a matter of days before the recent Transmission extravaganza in Prague last October. The track has been an ever present and lit up Markus' sets since; with multiple Global DJ Broadcast plays and many fans citing it as contender for trance anthem of 2015.
Complimenting the euphoric original is Ukranian talent Max Freegrant, who has had an impressive string of original and remix work over the past twelve months. He gives Drifter his usual blend of dark progressive tech, whilst allowing the beauty of the melody to continually shine.
It's an incredible debut from Dave Neven for the label, and many will look back in future years fondly at Drifter as one of the all-time great Coldharbour releases.

Now, turning his fourth ace in as many releases, the young Berliner drops ‘Animatic’. Another beautifully judged, exactingly produced piece of studio work, it once again hovers engagingly within the nexus of several different musical sub-genres.
‘Animatic’ (definition: ‘successively shooting a storyboard while adding the soundtrack’, lest you didn’t know!) smartly drums up house beats, skipping percussion and ether-inducing sub-riffs. Grafting them layer-by-layer over a progressive tempo and applying analogue-ish bass, electro-lining distortion and shafts melody along the way, he delivers something as compellingly danceable, as it is inscrutably intriguing.

Connection (Outboxx Remix) - Lancelot
Australia's Lancelot made a welcome return to Anjunadeep recently with the excellent ‘Connection’, one of the stand out tracks from our North American tour earlier this year. Now British duos Mak & Pasteman and Outboxx provide a double header of UK sounds on a dancefloor focused remix package.
After cuts on Breach’s NakedNaked label, and Redlight’s Lobster Boy Records, Mak & Pasteman add their heavy warehouse techno twist to the original, warping the vocal sample around a surging acidic bassline and pulsating club groove.
Bristol’s Outboxx take things deeper, cutting the vocal sample up over a warm bouncing bassline and lush pads, whilst the rising synth melodies and guitar riff from the original return in a mystical breakdown.
